Design of a Bitcoin-themed board game

Supervisor(s)Ass.-Prof. Dr. Svetlana Abramova

The general idea is to design and produce prototypes of a multi-player board game (e.g., like Monopoly) that simulates the general operation of Bitcoin. Playing this game should help to educate the general public on selected properties of the blockchain technology, which are hard to grasp without gamification. This thesis requires student’s creativity combined with a thorough understanding of Bitcoin and its ecosystem. Design choices of the game should be discussed and justified in the thesis as well as calibrated and evaluated using systematic test runs with human subjects.
